All audible only Solihull Security Services intruder alarm systems are covered by a fully comprehensive guarantee for the first 12 months. Thereafter, an optional maintenance contract can be entered into which is renewable annually for the life of the alarm system. All monitored intruder alarm systems are sold with automatic fully comprehensive maintenance contracts ongoing whilst monitoring is in force.



The maintenance options available are as follows:

PAY-AS YOU-GO MAINTENANCE

The pay-as-you-go option allows for one routine maintenance inspection of the system per annum to check the correct operation of all vital parts. This inspection is carried out by our own friendly service staff at a time convenient to you, on completion of this inspection a detailed preventative maintenance report is issued highlighting all of the checks completed in line with the Standard that the system is installed too. For the following 12 months the customer then has access to our 24 hour emergency service department (calls under this scheme are subject to a small call out charge and all parts are charged at the current rate prevailing at that time).

FULLY COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE

The fully comprehensive maintenance option offers all of the benefits of the pay-as-you-go maintenance option detailed above, but should emergency call outs be required due to false activation's or break downs due to normal wear and tear, these call out and replacement parts would be free of charge. There is no limit to the amount of calls made per annum. 



NO MAINTENANCE ​

Should the customer not wish to facilitate themselves with the benefit of a preventative maintenance contract all call outs and parts would be charged at the rate prevailing at that time. However, our service charges are amongst the lowest in the industry and are at a fixed rate, there is no additional charge made for the length of time required to repair a fault so you can be assured that you would not be presented with an inflated invoice for an hourly rate.
