Solihull Security Services was established in 1989 by our Senior Partner Michael Elwell who has worked within the security industry for over 40 years. The company is still to this day a family run business committed to retaining its core beliefs of only using high quality equipment, fitted to the highest standards but at cost affordable to the customer whether it be domestic, commercial or industrial.
Michael's mission and commitment from the offset to remain true to this strategy has aided the companies growth to well over 8000 satisfied customers to date.
Solihull Security Services is based in the West Midlands but over the years has branched out across the whole of the UK, supplying a high level of quality services as far north as Scotland through to the south coast, and not having exhausted overheads offers the same pricing structure throughout hence creating a substantial client base within the Capital where traditionally costs are higher.
in 1996 the company gained the highest level of accreditation within the industry when it became NSI NACOSS GOLD approved. The certification enabled the company to branch further afield and boost its sales in the commercial sector. The company also gained BS EN: ISO 9001 shortly after, this again strengthening its position within the industry. Once gaining these sought after credentials the company was able to provide systems connected through BT's RedCare network to obtain a Police response as well as other insurance approved monitored options, to date Solihull Security Services are recognised by 19 police forces across the UK.
Being NACOSS Gold approved and Quality Assured has also enabled prospective customers to be assured of a quality installation recognised by all insurance companies as an acceptable model giving them the facility of discounts on their premiums. This recognition is due to the fact that all approved installers are bi-annually inspected to ensure that the company is of good standing with all staff fully trained and police
checked along with checks being made on all other aspects that can affect the customer thus giving them assurance that their insurers will recognise their new security system.
Solihull Security Services still prides itself on the fact that client base is still made up by recommendations, with clients including British Airways and BPAS (British Pregnancy Advisory Service) to name but a few. It also adopts the fact that the industry is a constant changing one and that it welcomes new technologies along the way.
